I ride a Vespa motorscooter and there have been a lot of "scooter-jackings" in DC lately, even in broad daylight on busy roads.
The thieves hop on the back of the seat when you are stopped at a light and then push you off and steal the scooter. I'm really sick of this. The police have not caught any of these thieves. I bought one
from a local gun range and overall I think it is a great product. Only one
thing concerns me. Are 2 shots enough to stop an attacker? My concern is if
I miss the target I only have one shot left and what about multiple
attackers? I guess I could carry a small 1/2 ounce unit in my pocket as a
back up. I was just wondering what your opinion was on the overall

Bear Sprays -- are they good?

Hello,
I am starting to hike in the White Mountains- sometimes alone and sometimes with my children. Bears are somewhat of a concern, as are dogs and even people. Would the bear repellent work for people as well as dogs and bears? Would like one item to do it all!! Please advise!

I'm going abroad and want to take along some pepper spray.
I called my airline and they said that I can bring the spray (if I check it as cargo) but it needs to be non-aerosol.
Was wondering if you have something that might fit the bill.

Does pepper spray have an experation date? Does iit lose power over a certain time period? Just wondering, had a conversation with a co-employee, of which has a daughter in college and she stated that her daughter has been carring the same bottle for over two year.
